50 an hour 911 EMERGENCY DISPATCHER - Warren County Emergency Communications is currently accepting applications for the position of Emergency Communications Officer.

Pay:
Starting pay is $21.
50 per hour.
(Pay incentive for experienced dispatchers depending on qualifications and experience) $1 per hour pay increase after training.
PLUS $1 shift incentive when working the night shift.
Job Description:
This is a full-time position for a police, fire, and ambulance dispatcher.
Dispatchers work on a 12-hour shift with nearly 15-days off per month.
All training required for this position will be provided.
Emergency dispatchers process both emergency and non emergency calls for service from the public and other government agencies.
When a call is received, the dispatcher processes and evaluates the information and determines not only the importance of the call, but also what type and how many emergency services personnel will respond to it.
The dispatcher is the sole source for monitoring and coordinating emergency services activity.
The dispatcher will assign police, fire, and ambulance personnel through radio communication and then monitor the status to ensure public safety workers are updated.
A dispatcher also requests additional services and units on behalf of other emergency service officials, as well as performing a variety of other tasks to assist on scene personnel.
