Inventory Control Specialist

Maintain the accuracy of inventory through cycle counting on a pre-determined schedule.
Investigate issues to determine the source of the problem before deciding how to proceed with corrective action.
Review / reconcile / resolve reports downloaded from SAP and converted to Excel.
Conduct daily / weekly cycle counts to track and maintain inventory accountability of processing, concentrates, raw materials, packaging materials and full goods (including co-pack).
Ensure accuracy of daily production posting and closing of process orders, which includes reconciling inventory with finished goods in SAP.
Ensure all documentation and relevant paperwork is correct and accounted for i.
e.
correct codes, descriptions and order numbers.
Ensuring that all relevant paperwork and system input is completed in addition to provision of management reports as required.
Examples include:
cycle count validations, inventory adjustment trends, monthly standard loss tracking, co-pack tanker receipt tracking.
Maintain accurate inventory accounting of inventory at multiple site facilities by communicating with departments as needed and completing monthly reconciliations.
Maintain and organize filing of all necessary documents pertaining to inventory, which includes but is not limited to BOLs, Manual BOLs, Cycle Count Adjustments, DOMR paperwork, Supplier Claim paperwork, Vendor Return paperwork, Shipping paperwork, etc.
Adhere to the Month End Cutoff policy which includes validations that receipts are completed, inventory adjustments are finalized, system error COGI's are clear, MB5T transfer transactions are clear and/or in current process, DOMR's and vendor holds are finalized or in process pending coordination for disposal.
Perform pre and post production counts and inventory adjustments daily on specific materials and remaining items on predetermined count cycles.
Reconcile processing and concentrate inventory with settled finished goods process orders.
Review all incoming BOLs post receiving, correct any errors and perform monthly internal audits for strict adherence to the Refresco Receiving Policy.
Review Interplant Transfer Orders and review Ship/Confirm process to reconcile inventory.
Cross train as backup to complete all reporting for co-pack customers (pay at production process) Compile, process and track DOMR's including final disposal transportation.
Compile and track Supplier Claims.
Daily/weekly review of plant Hold Log Develop and implement plant inventory control processes.
Work with QA and Material Management for final disposition of hold inventory / and that all hold inventory is disposed or sent in a timely manner back to suppliers and systems updated accordingly.
Ensure process discipline for all inventory responsibilities.
Liaison with relevant departments such as Material Management and Manufacturing to discuss relevant issues; Examples:
Issues of non-deliveries, non-conforming inventory, aged inventory.
Track and manage aging/expired and non-conforming inventory data collection and reporting.
Manage the relationship with Processing production, Bottling production and material management to insure consistent and accurate communication regarding the flow of inventory into the plant.
Month end closing of process orders, necessary reconciliations, and inventory adjustments to fix possible COGI errors.
Coordinate Year End Physical Inventory process, properly documenting and validating accuracy of variance reconciliation.
Trend and monitor inventory accuracy and standard loss factor variances.
Process and Reconcile Vendor Returned items.
